Application

The silicone ignition cable connects the spark plugs and the car battery (through the alternator). It conducts an electric current of very high voltage (about 25–35 kV) and at the same time perfectly isolates the conductor. In so doing, it prevents the occurrence of an insulation properties malfunction, which usually leads to a faster engine failure.
